About me
Tricia Foster, PhD, OTR/L, is an occupational therapist and Associate Professor of Occupational Therapy at Western Michigan University. Her research, clinical, and teaching interests intersect in the area of supporting young children’s engagement and participation in their home and school environments. As a pediatric occupational therapist Tricia has worked in early intervention, clinical, and school-based settings. She has published and presented her research on early intervention, home environments, and parent-child interactions with multidisciplinary teams in Michigan and around the country. Most recently, she has translated research to practice for early childhood professionals and families across the state through the development and training of Birth to Three Language and Literacy Essentials.
