About me
Steven Exoo graduated from Calvin College in 2018 with a bachelor’s
degree in recreational therapy. He then pursued an associate’s degree
from Grand Rapids Community College’s Occupational Therapy Assistant
program, graduating in 2022. Since graduating from GRCC, he has been
working for Pine Rest Christian Mental Health Services, leading groups for
the patients in the inpatient psychiatric hospital. Steven doesn’t easily
forget his roots, though, and is still involved with GRCC’s OTA program as
a Level II Fieldwork Educator, a guest lecturer on mental health, DBT, and
OT for first-year students, and a member of the OTA program advisory
board. Outside of his professional life, Steven is passionate about music,
the outdoors, and working with adults with IDD in community, church, and
camp settings.
