About me
Michelle Suarez, PhD, OTR/L, is an occupational therapist and Professor of Occupational Therapy at Western Michigan University. Her research, clinical, and teaching interests include pediatric mental health and behavioral health including regulation, feeding, social skills and trauma. She is the director at the Resiliency Center for Families and Children, which provides service for children with complex medical and behavioral health issues. As a pediatric occupational therapist, Michelle has worked in medical and school-based settings.
