Amy Hayes, OTRL is a Rehabilitation Consultant Manager with the Business Network
Division. Her professional interests focus on ergonomics, workstation
design, assistive technology, and job analysis. Her current projects
include work injury prevention training and job analysis to businesses
throughout the state and workplace reasonable accommodations for
State of Michigan employees. She has served on the Advisory Board
for the Grand Rapids Community College (GRCC) Occupational
Therapy Assistant Program for six years and provides supervision to
occupational therapy students. She has lectured MSU interior design
students for several years on ergonomics and universal design. She
was recently honored with the MRS Champion Award for her
contributions to the field of occupational therapy and serving
persons with disabilities in the public and private sector. Amy earned
a Bachelor of Science degree from Eastern Michigan University in
occupational therapy. She is also a Certified Business Solutions
Professional (CBSP), a Certified Americans with Disabilities Act
Coordinator (ADAC), and a member of Michigan Occupational
Therapy Association (MiOTA as well as the American Occupational Therapy
Association (AOTA).
